UCEP Nepal manages four Juvenile Correction Homes for the Government of Nepal, offering education, counseling, healthcare and vocational training.

Bal Sudhar Griha — Juvenile Correction Home

Operation of the Juvenile Correction Home (JCH) started at Sanothimi, Bhaktapur in 2001, established by the Government of Nepal and managed by UCEP Nepal. It currently operates in four districts: Bhaktapur, Kaski, Morang and Banke.

Current Correction Homes

  • Sanothimi, Bhaktapur — est. 2002
  • Sarangkot, Pokhara (Kaski) — est. 2012
  • Biratnagar, Morang — est. 2013
  • Asmanpur, Banke — est. 2018

As of September 2024, 860 juvenile residents live in the four correctional homes, which offer formal education, counseling, healthcare, personality development, vocational training, and family reintegration programs.
